Our Maxon Cinema 4D training courses are designed to teach you the fundamental skills you need in the shortest possible period of time. Guided by the most sought-after 3D artists and instructors in the industry, you will learn this powerful application quickly and effectively.
Class 1 - Introduction To SketchUp and Setting Up The Preferences
In this first 2-hour lesson you will learn the SketchUp interface and how to configure it. You will also learn to navigate your models, set up the units of your project, create a template and view the models in different way and from different angles.
Class 2 - Basic Drafting Techniques
Now that you know your way around SketchUp is time to learn the basic drafting tools. At the end of this class, you will know how to draw shapes and models with the wide range of tools that are available in SketchUp.
Class 3 - Basic Modelling Techniques
Once you have created some surfaces or models you will then take those a step further. With the modelling tool provided in SketchUp you can add a great deal of detail to your model and also create new models with ease and speed. These topics are what this 2-hour class focuses on. By the end of the session, you will be confident in creating some awesome models in SketchUp.
Class 4 - Creating a 3D Model From an Image or a CAD File
In this lesson you will put in to practice all the tools you have learnt so far to create a model based on an image or a CAD file. During this class, you will also learn the importance of layers, groups and components in SketchUp.
Class 5 - Reusable Content, Scenes and Materials
During this lesson, you will learn how to create and edit components, as well as editing and applying materials to these components and models. You will also learn how to create scenes to save your custom views in SketchUp.
Class 6 - Exporting from SketchUp
In this final lesson, you will learn how to export your model in a number of different ways. You will learn exporting as images to Adobe Photoshop, as DWG files for Autodesk AutoCAD and as a video files.
Live Online Training Sessions
You will learn Trimble Sketchup by attending live online training sessions. Just like you would in a real classroom environment, you will be able to interact with your instructor and your peers in real time.
Challenging Tasks
After each session, you will be given a set of tasks to help you solidify what you learn during the live training sessions.
Lifetime Library Access
As well as supporting documents for your course, everything you learn during the sessions will be recorded and made available to you. You will have access to an extensive collection of support documents. Forever.
One-to-One Feedback
At the end of the training, you will have the option to attend a one-to-one feedback and evaluation session with your instructor.

How do I make a booking?
Once you decide which date you would like to start (check the upcoming dates above), just fill in the application form below and you will receive an email with the payment instructions for your course.

What happens after the booking?
You will receive an email, giving you access to our online training portal. This is where you will find all the information about your course, support documentation and start interacting with your instructors & peers.
Question 3
How do the live courses run?
Each live course runs for two-hours and during this time, you will be joining the rest of your peers and watch/listen to your instructor. You will be able to interact with your instructor and ask any questions during the course as you would in a traditional classroom set-up.
