Class 1 - Introduction to AutoCAD's Interface and Input Methods
In this first session you will learn the use of the interface and basic navigation and manipulation tools as well as input methods. Some of the topics you will cover will include the Command Line, options, Line, Eras, Zoom, Dynamic Input and Selection Modes.
Class 2 - Working Accurately
Accuracy is everything when it comes to technical drawing and this two-hour class is just about accuracy. You will learn a series of drawing aids to help you with your technical drawings including working with Ortho Mode, Polar Tracking, Object Snap, Grid Display, Snap Mode, Object Snap Tracking and Mirror.
Class 3 - Using Drafting, Editing and Copying Tools to Improve Drawings
Now that you are familiar with the core concepts and tools, in this session, you will learn how to draw by using more complex shapes as well as countless tips and tricks about refining your drawings. The tools that will be covered in this class will include the Circle, Polygon, Polyline, Explode, Join, Trim, Extend and Polar Array.
Class 4 - More Tools for Drafting, Editing and Copying
Building up from the previous lesson, you will now learn the last set of basic drawing and editing tools including Rectangle, Offset, Fillet, Rectangular Array, Chamfer and Ellipse.
Class 5 - Controlling the Drawings with Layers
In this class, you will learn the use of the powerful Layers in AutoCAD. You will learn how to create, manage and edit layers, as well as additional tools to better control them. The topics will include the Layer Manager, Line Type Manager, Move, Copy, Layer Isolate, Layer Unisolate, Layer Lock, Layer Freeze, Layer Off, Object Isolate, Object Unisolate and Hide Objects.
Class 6 - Working with Re-usable Content: Creating, Editing and Using Block Libraries
During this session, you will learn how to create, edit and insert Block as well as creating and managing Block Libraries. The topics you will learn will include: Block Create, Block Insert, Block Edit, Stretch and Design Center.
Class 7 - Manipulating Objects and Working with Colours & Patterns
You will now learn how to use some of the most common manipulation tools in AutoCAD as well as copying content from other files and filing various areas with colours and patterns. The tools that will be used during this session are Rotate, Scale, Align, Copy Clip, Copybase, Paste, Paste to Original Coordinates, Hatch, Hatch Edit and Gradient.
Class 8 - Printing, Organising and Scaling
It is now time to learn how to setup the paper space, a title block and scale the drawings for printing and the use of annotative scales. This session will cover topics such as Layout, Page Setup Manager, Viewport, Viewport Scale, Viewport Freeze and Annotative Scales.
Class 9 - Annotating Drawings
In this final two-hour session, you will learn how to create and edit all types of annotations in your drawings. You will also learn how to create a drawing template. The topics covered in this class will include Multiline Text, Linear Dimension, Aligned Dimension, Angular Dimension, Arc Length Dimension, Radius Dimension, Continuous Dimension, Baseline Dimension Multileaders and Creating Templates.
Live Online Training Sessions
You will learn Autodesk AutoCAD by attending live online training sessions. Just like you would in a real classroom environment, you will be able to interact with your instructor and your peers in real time.
Challenging Tasks
After each session, you will be given a set of tasks to help you solidify what you learn during the live training sessions.
Lifetime Library Access
As well as supporting documents for your course, everything you learn during the sessions will be recorded and made available to you. You will have access to an extensive collection of support documents. Forever.
One-to-One Feedback
At the end of the training, you will have the option to attend a one-to-one feedback and evaluation session with your instructor.

Each live course runs for two hours and during this time, you will be joining the rest of your peers and watch/listen to your instructor. You will be able to interact with your instructor and ask any questions during the course as you would in a traditional classroom set-up.
